Linking Guilds Wars account with NCSoft account question... - Guild Wars Forums

I'm having the same problem it can not be the guild wars log in as it says no special characters and the guild wars login's contain the @ symbol

think is if you use the NcSoft login it just bounces you back to the same page and adds the msg

"Your account name should be between 5 and 12 characters, containing only letters and numbers, and starting with a letter. No special characters are allowed."

to the page

1?? you have to create you nsoft acount

login should be something like: iamanoob

afther your ncsoft acout is created you have to bind you gw acount
i cant go specific because i've done that long time ago

Anyway all other should read this (red text): http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10258190. It worked for me, so i quess mods can close this (Sorry all except afmart for making mess).

No mods can not close this, well I would rather they didn't . As the error we are having isn't the same as you've posted. As far as I'm aware we have all created an account we then go to the NcSoft shop and click on the storage box it then takes us to a page and asks us to link our account at that point we get a page that says

"an existing guild wars account not listed here"

we click link and select account

it then asks for another account name and password with the msg

"In order to use your serial code with an existing Guild Wars?? account, you must link your Guild Wars?? account to your NCsoft account."

then it asks for a password and account name (it means the NcSoft ones) however it refuses to accept them and bounces us back to the same page but the msg now reads.

it does this repeatedly the link you sent us to has nothing to do with this problem as the people in that link have managed to get the item added to the cart we have not got that far however congratulations for getting it working and I apologise for hijacking your thread

Hmm... To sum it up i did this - i've created NCSoft account and verified mine email (there was 2 emails from ncsoft, there is guide in first one and code in second one - i dunno if that was necessary). I wasn't able to link Guild Wars account from NCSoft site (login/password didn't match) so instead of it i read how to link it from Guild Wars game in a thread i mentioned before. It worked for me so mine Guild Wars account becamed linked to NCSoft account and i was finally able to get additional panel.
